Alone


Among the dusty surroundings and trash that surrounds it, is one solitary flower brightening up the scene... alone...
If only the same could be said about us. In the midst of the dreary world that surrounds us we can "brighten the corner where we are". That wherever we are there is a smile, thought it may be... alone...

Still Silver





This is the first picture of the second series here on Joel Thiessen Photography. This Series will be called "The Colour of Grey". The object of this series will be taking pictures of gray subjects resulting in a scale of greys while still taken in color. This series will likewise be posted subsequently though not necessarily consecutively. Keep your eyes open for new posts from this series.

The Other Side





How many times do we make wishes about the "other side of the fence" when we are just focusing on the fence and not really focusing on what's on either side?
